Goal

An upgraded AI-compatible Innovation Framework for Organic Growth, enterprise wide or for a specific BU.

Audience and Participants

Stakeholders who are accountable for effective innovation that delivers real organic growth. For example: C-level managers, Innovation Managers, Portfolio Managers, Technology Leaders, Process Owners. Both from the Product Innovation side as well as the Factory Innovation side.

Approach

Our Innovation Framework model contains an Architecture of Process Models/Procedures, a Governance Charter and an overarching Data model, that can meet the challenges of the new AI driven era. We believe that current architectures must be fundamentally revisited, moving from a strict departmental approach to a more holistic, AI-compatible concept. The following components are required:

• The Top-Down Innovation Management vision specified for the customer’s practice.
• Innovation Target setting: definition of the business (revenue) needs for innovation; very concrete: per revenue stream, numbers per quarter.
• Portfolio and Program Creation at strategic and operational level.
• Portfolio Contracts across all stakeholders of the ecosystem: committed Roadmaps.
• An organisational model capable of fulfilling the Framework and its Contracts.
• An Innovation Governance Charter that defines roles, accountabilities, decision-making processes, data ownership, and data access rules.
• The role and use of agentic AI.
• Data governance and innovation master-data models.

Designing an alternative innovation framework with the customer requires a clearly defined collaborative project.

Result

A fully documented dedicated Innovation Framework as recommendation, AI-compatible.
